Devi’s fall 

It is also called Patale Chango in Nepali which means underground Waterfall. The Devi’s fall is an unique waterfall which flows directly into a narrow and deep canal which has no end. The water from the fall flow about 500 feets through the natural tunnel at the depth of 100 feets from ground level The water passes through the cave called  Gupteshwor Mahadev cave beneath the land.

According to locals an accident took place in July 1961 when a swiss couple  were on a Nepal tour they went to pokhara for a sightseeing and they happen to come to Patale chhango. When they saw a pond they couldn’t stop themselves from swimming on the pond when they got into the pond and started swimming and suddenly the speed of water raised and they were swept away. Luckily Devi’s husband survived but Mrs Devi fell into pit and died. After that day the place was named as Devi’s Fall.
