April: Travel Nepal in April:

Much like March, April is overall a pleasant time to visit Nepal. The landscapes are specially beautiful in the upper trekking and hilly region as snow will have been melt away and the hill will be adorned with lush greenery. Rhododendrons will be in full bloom, So maybe if you are going on a trek, you can try some rhododendron juice or Raksi  (means alcohol in Nepali) from the locals.

Kathmandu and Chitwan will have good and clear weather most with occasional rain, while Pokhara will have a bit more rain than the last two. However, at some parts it can also be dusty and hazy sometimes.

The Nepalese national new year falls on the middle of the month, so join some locals or your guide and his other guide friends to have a bash in thamel.
