 Nepal is sandwiched between China in the north and India on three sides and comprises 54 thousand square miles of territory with a length of 500 miles and breadth ranging from 55 to 80 miles. The country is land locked with no sea access to reach third countries. We have some trans- Himalayan range that makes this country very idyllic and attractive. The passes through these ranges provide easy access to Tibet. Towards the northern boarder from east to west, stand majestically the eight highest peaks in the world including Mt. Everest providing a magnificent panorama from early civilization.  Because of its geographical variation it divided in to three major geographical region as Himalayas, hilly and Tarai, due to the country's endowed with vast mass of natural resources make it affluent with varieties of flora and fauna. In the prehistoric era, it was really no man’s land only useful for salvation and meditation. The ascetic people who were emancipated from household affairs from India and Tibet would wander about the mountainous countryside in search of peace. Slowly men of Indian origin began to inhabit this area for fear of attack by Muslims. In the same way, the Tibetan people started to migrate to Burma and then to Nepal. These people belonged to Tibeto-Burman class. So, the Indian and Tibeto-Burman people mixed together and created the Nepali society.


For centuries, the kingdom was divided in to many principalities until 18th century. The country took full shape only after 1768 A. D. when King Prithvi Narayan Shah of gorkha, conquered and united all the small states in to the one great Nepal. Kathmandu is capital of Nepal. It is a huge showcase of colossal and miniature master pieces of stone work. There are three age- old durbar square, named Kathmandu durbar square, Patan durbar square and Bhaktapur durbar square in the three city of Kathmandu valley. Also there is some museum, Patan museum; Durbar palace museum, Swoyambhu museum etc... Pokhara is another best tourist destination and gets way to Annapurna trekking area. Chitwan national park is biggest and popular national park for jungle nature lover. It is one of the best tourist destinations. It offers many things to travelers.
